in Weight Loss

Here is a weight loss tip that requires a simple change in your food habits. It has been proven in various that if you use a smaller plate, you will automatically start eating less. That’s right, simply by changing the size of the plate will aid in weight loss. In a study conducted to prove this, people of same height and weight were invited to eat in a dinner. The group was served food on very a large plate. Down to the person, the volunteers cleaned off the plates of food and stated they were full. When asked, many of these same people never indulged in so much food. The only thing they were told was to eat until they were full.

The next day, this same group of people was served on salad plates, along with a smaller amount of food which they consumed totally. When asked if they were hungry, everyone responded in negative. This experiment once again proved that people have subjective opinions and beliefs based on visual data. When applying this to losing weight, the idea is simple. Eat on smaller plates,  include salads in your meals, and you will stand a much better chance of losing weight because you will naturally eat less due to filling done by the salads. Combine this with eating slowly, and you will be well on your way towards losing weight in an effective and consistent manner. Salads also help by adding the fiber content to our diet, making digestion easy and ongoing. Therefore, eat less, add salads to your meals, and eat slowly to improve your eating habits and lose weight. Eating less doesn’t mean you need to diet, but you need to eat the required amount of food that is needed to fulfill your energy demands as per your work schedule/daily activities.
