in Weight Loss

Several researches have shown (especially those done at the University of Chicago) that sleep deprivation can upset the hormonal balance in our body. This can in turn trigger a decrease in leptin (a hormone that helps in making us feel full), and an increase in levels of ghrelin (a hormone that stimulates hunger)

The result is, we feel hungry when we actually aren’t. If the sleep deprivation is an ongoing process (or chronic in other words), this can lead to the development of obesity and weight gain due to unnecessary eating. In fact, sleep can act as the easiest and cheapest option to lose weight. Therefore, if you are getting less than seven to eight hours of good sleep, you might be heading towards gaining weight.  Sleeping pills should be avoided however as they can lead to other side effects. Sleep acts more naturally and effectively to lose weight than any diet or weight loss pills. Our suggestion is, sleep well and eat well!smile Sleep and Weight Loss
