The food item for which you have cravings should be replaced by some less tasty or even bitter item. Whenever you feel hungry take the other food item instead of your favorite one. With time you will develop a general aversion for your favorite food.
However, for a more practical approach to this technique, your partner should work for bringing/giving you the aversive item. It might look odd at first, but you will notice the difference yourself.

I eat 5-7 times a day and no longer find myself craving food. It is much more satisfying having small snacks throughout the day than stuffing your face with unhealthy food!
