Eating Habits
In someway, we do become what we consume, really. Take some examples, if you are a hamburger lover, and continue to eat it for the rest of your life, you can easily imagine, where your BMI (Body Mass index) and health will be going year after year. On the other hand if you keep on consuming a balanced diet, you will remain free from weight problems for the rest of your life. It is not only about being obese, that is considered unhealthy, it is actually what your body mass index is. Even very thin people are not healthy. If the health standards look altered by the excessive media exposure and all that stuff, then it does not mean, a perfect body shape should be the same as you see on TV or that of celebrities. A healthy individual is the one, who feels happy with his body and is having good eating habits.
People who usually prefer vegetarian diet, are always on the beneficial end of fitness and well being. How and why? Reason is simple, yet often misunderstood. Vegetarian diet is mostly derived from the plant or natural resources, so, they are hardly containing any fatty substances in them, which can prove harmful later on. Just do one simple experiment with yourself if you are a non-vegetarian; keep yourself on vegetarian diet for a month or so and then measure all your health related quotients, like your weight, your body mass index, your mood and behavior too. You will surely notice a big difference. Animal diet might sound tastier to many people, but its just a notion of how much you like to eat it. You can always live without that, if you want it.
Food also determines your behavior. If you eat good food and feel satisfied with it, you usually remain happy and vice versa is also true. It has been studied that people who take excess fats in their food are generally of lower tolerance as far as behavior is concerned. What determines is that is not known exactly. But you will see this difference in your routine life too. Eat healthy, eat fresh and always try to avoid sedentary life style, which can lead to unnecessary storage of fat in your body.
