In our previous post on mayonnaise, we have discussed about them in a general. Many of us might not be agreeing with their goodness at all due to the health related problems associated with mayonnaise. So, let us have a look how good or bad they really are for our health.
* May contain gluten, which should be avoided by those with celiac disease. * Raw eggs used in fresh mayonnaise may pose a risk of salmonella. Anyone allergic to eggs should avoid mayonnaise altogether. The vinegar may trigger an allergic reaction in people sensitive to molds. Most commercial types of mayonnaise and salad dressing have fillers made of gluten, which should be avoided by anyone with celiac disease.
Benefits:
* Mayonnaise are a good source of vitamin E, depending upon the type of oil used.

Drawbacks:
* High in fat and calories. (which really makes them unpopular among health conscious people.) * May trigger an allergic reaction in people sensitive to eggs and molds.

I am confused that is Mayonise good or bad. I have read in articles that Mayonyse is better than eating a egg means that if i eat a egg with two slices…. it is better that i put some amount of Mayonise to slices and ate instead of eating egg…. Is that true
mayo is 1 of the safest products
The idea that mayonaisse is bad for you is a myth that continues to percolate around (fringe) diet and health websites.
Just look at the ingredients: Eggs (which after another scientific bad call, are actually good for you), Oils (just about 99% of all brands use healthy oils…therefore, you are getting mono and unsaturated fats…THE GOOD FATS)…some lemon juice…a pinch of suger and salt.
There is NOTHING bad for you in mayonnaise..it fact…its one of the healthiest dressings you can eat.
