1. Taking food at regular times only and avoiding excessive break-time binges.
2. Eating healthy food more often. If you can not restrict your non-vegan diet for long time, you can try taking it at different intervals rather than taking it daily.
3. Include a diet chart in your daily routine work and try to stick to it as much as you can.
4. Eating and sleeping should never be paired. You should always let your digestive system work properly after you eat something. This can be done by doing slight walking after meals and avoiding going to bed immediately. It would also help to prevent excessive deposition of those extra calories, which you preserve due to inactivity while you are asleep.

5. Always try to include plenty of roughage and water in your daily dietary routine. Both of them help in digestion of what you eat.
